Felony convictions carry the potential of years (or life) in prison in and also carry restrictions on other civil rights including the right to vote or possess a firearm. Moreover, if an individual is convicted of a misdemeanor or felony such convictions are not eligible to be expunged (or removed) from that person’s criminal record.
